The Review - NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation

A flawless complexion in one drop?  All day, weightless coverage?  Does the new NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation deliver?

Almost.  NARS' new foundation is a very fluid, highly pigmented product that, for me, provides light to medium coverage with one pump and full coverage with two.  It definitely delivers on its promise for all day weightless coverage and natural finish.  Even with two pumps and full coverage, the skin still looks very natural.  Sometimes with full coverage foundations, it can look very cakey, but not with this.  I've tried this both with and without a primer and even without a primer was able to get close to all day wear.  You have to shake it very well before pumping as the texture is very fluid and I prefer to apply it with a dense buffing brush or BeautyBlender to really work it into the skin.  The finish is soft and satin and didn't break down into patchiness after hours of wear.  I think this will work for most skin types.  I have very oily skin and the satin finish of the foundation worked really well for it.

I'm a MAC NC30, Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua B40, Giorgio Armani Maestro 5.5 and picked Stromboli for this NARS foundation.  It's a touch too dark for me, but still photographs beautifully and will be perfect for summer.

Have you tried this yet?  What are your thoughts?
